After several years of sewing my little heart out and creating Pollykinz Designs, I've decided to start blogging and share with you what inspires and shapes my world.
First and foremost, my greatest inspirations - my house full of boys. Trucks, trains, cars, all things farming and mud, glorious mud! Our beautiful home is set on a small farm, surrounded by bigger properties. The space, the clean air and dulcet tones of sheep bleating, is the lifestyle we love - I cannot think of a better way to raise my little men.

Another passion in life, which quite often follows through to my designs, is colour. From simple neutral tones through to bright and bold palettes, colour (to me) represents our inner self - and I love it! My house is painted in greens, blues, greys and sandstone hues, and my garden .... well it's only new, but one day, vibrant it will be (as long as mother nature is kind and it rains!).
A visit to the Pollykinz Designs website is the fusion of all that I find beautiful. Creating gorgeous handmade products for other mummy's and their little ones brings me great delight, and I cannot wait to share more with you over the coming year.
